Hiba Nawab on Shoaib Ibrahim’s Potential Entry in Jhanak : “I Don’t Know Him”

The popular TV show Jhanak , starring Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja, has been under scrutiny for some time now. The storyline of the show has faced criticism from viewers, leading to a decline in viewership and a drop in ratings. A few weeks ago, rumors about the show taking a leap began circulating, which were later confirmed by the cast. However, the makers eventually decided to postpone and ultimately cancel the leap.

Speaking to Telly Masala about the cancellation, Hiba Nawab, the lead actress of Jhanak , expressed her excitement. She said, "Yeah, even I got the news that the leap got canceled or postponed; even I don't know yet. But yes, I will be able to entertain you guys again now, so I am happy."

Amidst the buzz around the leap, reports emerged that actor Shoaib Ibrahim had been approached to play the new lead role in the show. It was also revealed that Shoaib had auditioned for the part. When asked if she had spoken to Shoaib about his potential entry into Jhanak , Hiba clarified that she does not personally know him.

"I know of him but I don't know him, so I haven’t spoken to him at all because I don't know him," Hiba stated.

For those unfamiliar with the show, Hiba Nawab is paired opposite Krushal Ahuja in Jhanak , with Chandni Sharma playing the negative lead. Despite being out of the top 5 race for several weeks, the show has recently made it back into the top 5 this week. However, its ratings remain unchanged, showing no significant improvement.
